Recognising Rejection
I think rejection effects most of us on lots of different levels to different degrees. Rejection and its effects can last a lifetime, creating a new lifestyle for us and so its presence will definitely affect our relationships with each other. I guess we should start with the question: "What is rejection?" We experience a... Continue Reading →

Can Guys and Girls be Friends? – Part 1
There's a load of articles written and being written at the moment about being single in the Church. Tony; this is an amazing write-up. I would confess that I couldn’t read up everything, but I get the picture you’re painting. People, like you’ve obviously said, see singleness as a problem and not a blessing. I am a clear example of someone that struggled with this up until a few weeks back when I stumbled upon a message by Dr Myles Munroe (God bless his soul). It was on how singleness is a blessing. It was contradictory at first but I began to listen and open my heart to what he said and I completely understood him. Though I am no longer single, it planted within me, a seed which I believe has grown and made me understand that people don’t have to rush and have to date the correct way. Presently, I am reading a book by Joshua Harris titled ”I Kissed Dating Goodbye” and it is also opening my eyes to how dating should be in the Christian and dating way and as my girlfriend puts it, ”honouring someone while you’re dating them”. I hope you keep posting more interesting topics and I also hope you do not mind if I reblog this as well.
God bless you.

I read I Kissed Dating Goodbye a while ago. I loved it but since have found that it’s not a perfect formula for dating as each situation is different and this has to be kept in mind. Honourinf God and honouring each other I think should be the highest priority and that will take care of most problems.
